Hercules Beetle

The Hercules beetle is a rhinoceros beetle native to the rainforest of Central and South America. They are large beetles, reaching 17cm, and iridescent colouration. Why the big horn? You guessed it.....the males use them to fight for a female. The winner flips his opponent off the ground or tree or wherever they're fighting for a mate. The things men do to get the girl!
